Pasta and chocolate

 I discovered it by accident one evening in Castel Gandolfo, nibbling a chocolate bar while waiting for my pasta (leftover from pranzo) to reheat. Chocolate and pasta. Was I the only one to have discovered this?

Gnocchi with chocolate! Also, gnocchi with butter, sugar and cinnamon!

For that matter - pizza base with chocolate!

(but not what a friend of mine used to do - an ITALIAN friend: take a frozen pizza, cook it, and put nutella over the tomato and mozzarella. Eurgh.)

the more I think about this....
the better it sounds? Dough and chocolate -- how can this be bad! The pizza with nutella on top on the other hand???
